Permission

I read this recently and it stopped me in my tracks. And I’d like to share it with you :)

“Fear is excitement that hasn’t received permission.” - Phyllis Currot, The Witches Wisdom Tarot, (The 3 of Fire).

It reminds me of how much we, the keepers of the stories we tell ourselves, have the capacity to change up the narrative.

What if…

We gave ourselves permission to want the things we want? To be with the discomfort of true reflection and move through it rather than avoid it?

And what if, underneath whatever rock of fear that holds us back from taking that step, or feeling our depth, we found a spark of excitement that’s just dying to leap out and catch fire?

What’s possible then?
