Being Visible
Hello dear hearts,
Have you ever had an idea or big change you wanted to initiate into being but the thought of “putting yourself out there” is just paralyzing? “But then I’ll be visible!”, the voice in your head screams.
“Will people accept and understand me if I show up differently than they expect?”
“What if my hybrid or unconventional background doesn’t make sense to people? Should I even be doing this thing that I want to do?”
Sometimes no matter how much we yearn to be known in new and different ways, it’s still a very sticky feeling to break out of the shell that no longer serves us. It can feel safer to hide and keep to ourselves.
But let’s Imagine…
That when we show up in our fullness unapologetically and with confidence, people will know how to use us. And by use I don’t mean take advantage of. I mean that communicating our clarity can allow people to discover that what they need matches up precisely with what we most love doing. Circumstances can often require us to do some soul-sucking work in order to survive. But if we are not telling people about the kind of work we do want to do, then the ratio of soul-sucking work to work that feeds us and ultimately leads to more abundance in our lives will remain way out of balance and we’ll be stuck in a loop.
OK, but how to begin…
Find a supportive soundboard to help you hone in and clarify your values, vision, who you are, and what you offer. Someone who can help shift your mindset when those protective fear and imposter voices creep in.
Imagine how you’d like to visualize and communicate your gifts and to whom. A new website? A vision statement? A proposal that you send out?
My newly revamped coaching and consulting programs bring together powerful mindset and creative clarity support with website design and vision statement guidance for crafting distinct heart-led messaging. They are a launchpad for inviting people to know you in ways that can manifest the type of opportunities and connections that you desire. I’m also offering consultation services on immersive theatrical projects, which many of you know is my favorite thing to geek out about. These honed-in offerings bring me so much joy and is exactly the way I can feel into the gifts I have to offer you :)
